I Forgot About This One

Another year of Polymyalgia Rheumatica..what started as a special year ended up with a return of my old enemy..but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel so here I am again....sick of Winter and cold and snow, Spring was here one day last week but slipped away at twilight and was long gone by morning. Again!

So Long Summer

Well, that was the shortest summer I can ever remember..must have been about 11 days long. The blight kept the tomato crop low, the swiss chard and kale and brussel sprouts love the cool weather and are really outdoing themselves..and the flowers have been magnificent this year.

Our oldest daughter and I spent a wonderful day last month.. a visit to a nearby [well 1 hour away is nearby I guess] BUTTERFLY HOUSE!

I loved it and can't wait to go back. the only thing that was disappointing about the whole trip was that I got my camera out of my bag and started taking pictures I was reminded by my camera that I had left the memory card home!

Deb took quite a few and some of them turned out really well. One of the best things about it is that they are open all year around..what a lifesaver that will be in the dreary gray days of winter and especially when it seems to last forever.

Sorry I have posted so little this summer... I have been busier than usual and the fact that I got immersed in rereading some favorite books didn't help. Right now I am packing for our vacation...Cape Ann..we are on our way! Will post when I get back home.

Royal Mix-up!

Ever since changing this from AOL Journal, I have not been able to access my other Blog on here. I didn't want to replace it with this one, just add this as a second one. I have tried everything including contacting blogspot with no results..If I can figure this out, I will be back..if not, then it will have to just sit here i guess!!!

I have been having a hard time posting to this after moving it from AOL, must need some kinks ironed out..and I HATE to iron!

Until I see if this works, I will keep my posts brief, about this long!
